After completing an M.A. with Distinction from Kingston University, Dr. Valerie Webb lectured on a number of Art History courses whilst studying for an M.Phil., the focus of which was on the Camden Town Group. Based on that research, her book The Camden Town Group: Representations of Class and Gender in London Interiors was published in 2006. She subsequently went on to study for a PhD on the life and work of Edward Stott at the University of Northumbria in Newcastle.
